How To Transfer Crypto From Kucoin To Trust Wallet

Kucoin is one of the leading exchanges at the moment and the 4th most popular crypto exchange by trading volume according to CoinMarketCap.com just after some top exchanges including Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken.

Trust Wallet is also a top player in the non-custodial wallet space with millions of users and a ton of downloads on their apps on both the Google Play Store and Apple’s app store.

Since most crypto exchanges are centralized, there are many reasons why one might want to transfer their crypto holdings from these exchanges to non-custodial wallets like Trust Wallet and the likes.

For a start, these wallets are non-custodial – meaning that you keep full control over your crypto assets since you get the private keys of your wallets in form of a 12-word recovery phrase when you create an account on any of these wallets.

There are other advantages like having to trade cryptos not yet listed on these exchanges, staking cryptos, getting access to decentralized apps and exchanges + more.

How To Transfer Crypto From Kucoin To Trust Wallet (Step By Step Guide)

To transfer or withdraw crypto from Kucoin to your Multi-Coin wallet on Trust Wallet, you first need to copy the wallet address of the crypto you want to transfer on the Trust Wallet app. After that, you can head over to Kucoin and transfer the amount of the specified coin/token to that address using the correct blockchain network.

For this guide, we will be showing you how to transfer BNB (BEP20) from Kucoin to Trust Wallet.

You can also follow along using this guide if you’re transferring other coins since the process is the same, all you have to do is copy the correct wallet address and send the right crypto using the correct network to that address from your Kucoin account.

Below is how you can transfer crypto from Kucoin to Trust Wallet easily.

Step 1: Launch the Trust Wallet app on your device and select the asset you want to receive.

Launch the Trust Wallet app on your device and select the crypto you want to withdraw to Trust Wallet from Kucoin.

Since we will be transferring BNB (BEP20) from Kucoin to Trust Wallet for this guide, we’re selecting “BNB Smart Chain” on Trust Wallet. If you’re transferring another coin say ETH or Bitcoin from Kucoin, select it from the list of available balances.

Can’t find the crypto you want to transfer on the list of available balances? Tap on the [Filter] icon on the top right corner of the page.

Search for the token you want to receive then enable it by tapping on the toggle button next to the token.

Now, go back to the Trust Wallet home screen and you should find the token there, then you can select it.

Step 2: Tap on [Recieve] and then [Copy] to copy your wallet address.

On the asset’s page, tap on [Recieve] to reveal your Trust Wallet address for the asset you selected earlier.

Next, tap on the [Copy] button to copy your wallet address to clipboard.

Step 3: Launch the Kucoin mobile app and tap on [Assets].

Now that you have the wallet address for the coin to be transferred, hop on the Kucoin app on your device (iOS or Android) and tap on [Assets] to navigate to the Kucoin assets page.

If you use the Kucoin web version to access your Kucoin account, the steps are also similar.

Step 4: Tap on [Withdraw] on the Assets page.

On the Assets section of the Kucoin app, tap on [Withdraw] to initiate the withdrawal process.

Step 5: Next, search for the coin you want to withdraw and select the correct option from the results.

Next, search for the coin you want to transfer to your wallet on Trust Wallet and select the correct option from the search results.

Since we’re transferring BNB (BEP20) to Trust Wallet from Kucoin for the sake of this tutorial, we will go ahead and search for “BNB” and select the correct option from the search results.

If you’re transferring any other coin say Ethereum, type in Ethereum or ETH in the search bar and select the correct option (which is Ethereum) from the search results.

Step 6: Paste your Trust Wallet address in the address field.

Now, paste in the wallet address you copied earlier from Trust Wallet in the “Wallet Address” field on the Kucoin Withdrawal page.

Kucoin will automatically select the correct network to use for the transaction based on the wallet address you pasted. Leave the selected network as it is to avoid loss of funds due to transferring using the wrong network.

Step 7: Enter the withdrawal amount and tap on [Confirm].

Next, enter the amount of the said coin you want to withdraw from Kucoin and tap on [Confirm] to confirm the transaction.

You can leave the remark field empty as this is not required for the transaction and make sure to take note of the fees associated with the transaction.

Once your transaction goes through successfully, the funds transferred should take anywhere from 3-10 mins to show up on your Trust Wallet app. With this, you have successfully transferred crypto from your Kucoin account to your wallet on Trust Wallet.

What Is A Wallet Address On Kucoin?

Your wallet address is the most important information you need to receive crypto into your Kucoin account from another crypto exchange or crypto wallet.

Kucoin provides its users with wallet addresses for all the crypto assets available on their platform.

To get your wallet address on Kucoin, all you have to do is to navigate to the Assets page and tap on [Deposit]. Next, search for the coin you want to get its wallet address and select the correct option from the search results.

Finally, tap on [Copy Address] to copy your Kucoin wallet address for the coin you selected.

Wrapping up.

Transferring crypto from Kucoin to another exchange or a crypto wallet is quite an easy process. First, you have to get the wallet address of the wallet to which you will be transferring the funds.

Once you have the wallet address, hop on your Kucoin account using either the mobile app (which is available for both iOS and Android) or the website and transfer the funds to the wallet address by entering the wallet address alongside the amount to be transferred.

Depending on the network conditions of the blockchain you used to initiate the transfer, the transaction could take anywhere from 3-15mins to complete and reflect on the Trust Wallet app.
